Immersion bare-tube heaters are in direct contact with the medium and have a faster heat transfer response, but when the low-temperature fluid contains impurities or tends to scale, cleaning is more difficult. Sheathed electric heaters place the heating element inside a protective sheath, and heat is transferred to the medium through the sheath wall; during maintenance, only the core element needs to be withdrawn, without draining the pipeline or removing flanges. For procurement personnel, this structural difference directly affects later maintenance costs and downtime. During selection, procurement personnel need to provide the supplier with the medium name, working temperature, ambient temperature, sheath material requirements, and installation connection dimensions. The BHT-32 sheathed electric heater has a rated voltage of 220V or 380V, and the power range can be configured according to working conditions; the sheath material can be carbon steel or stainless steel, and the terminal box protection rating is IP54, suitable for indoor installation or installation within a protective cover in environments without explosive gases. For explosion-proof locations, products with the corresponding explosion-proof rating must be selected separately.
