The BR-20 plate heat exchanger is designed and manufactured in accordance with GB/T 16409 "Plate Heat Exchangers" and NB/T 47004 "Plate Heat Exchangers". It has a single plate heat transfer area of 0.2 m², a maximum handling capacity of 50 m³/h, a design pressure of 1.0 MPa, and a design temperature of 150°C. Plate materials can be 304/316L stainless steel or titanium, and gaskets are made of nitrile rubber or EPDM rubber.
Compared with shell-and-tube heat exchangers, the BR-20 reduces floor space by about 60% and weight by about 50% at the same heat transfer area, and the heat transfer area can be adjusted by adding or removing plates. During procurement, it is necessary to focus on verifying medium corrosiveness, inlet and outlet temperatures, flow rate, and allowable pressure drop to avoid leakage caused by improper selection of plate material or gasket.
It is suitable for HVAC, food and beverage, chemical cooling, and other occasions, especially for working conditions with limited space or requiring frequent disassembly and cleaning. The channels between plates are narrow, so it is not suitable for media containing large particles or high fibers.
Confirm whether the plate material, gasket material, connection flange standard, design pressure, and temperature match the on-site pipeline; require the supplier to provide material certificates and pressure test reports, and pay attention to the influence of plate thickness and corrugation form on heat transfer efficiency.
