In heat exchange systems in the chemical, petroleum, and other industries, sheathed heat exchangers often suffer from sheath cracking and leakage due to medium corrosion, scaling, or thermal stress, affecting production continuity. To address such problems, the HRY2 sheathed heat exchanger adopts an integrated structure of a metal sheath and an electric heating element, suitable for heating or cooling fluid media.
The product consists of a tubular electric heating element, a metal sheath, and a wiring device. The sheath material can be carbon steel, stainless steel, or titanium alloy, adapting to different corrosive environments. Between the electric heating element and the sheath is filled with high-purity magnesium oxide powder, which is compressed to ensure insulation and thermal conductivity. The junction box adopts a sealed structure with a protection rating of IP54, suitable for humid or outdoor occasions.
Rated voltage: 220V/380V; Power range: 1kW~30kW; Sheath outer diameter: Φ8~Φ20mm; Length: 200~6000mm (customizable); Working temperature: ≤400℃; Insulation resistance: ≥50MΩ; Withstand voltage strength: 1500V/1min without breakdown.
Design selection requires determining the power and sheath material based on medium characteristics, flow rate, temperature rise, and pressure. During installation, ensure the electric heating element is fully immersed in the medium to avoid dry burning. The junction box should be kept away from heat sources and corrosive gases, and insulation performance should be checked regularly. This product is suitable for heating and cooling of media such as water, oil, and acid-base solutions, and is commonly used in reactors, storage tanks, pipeline heat tracing, and other scenarios.
