For procurement personnel, the maintainability of equipment after commissioning directly affects downtime frequency and spare parts costs. The HRL-22 sheathed hot and cold exchanger emphasizes ease of disassembly and assembly as well as monitorable operating status in its structural design. The following explains from three aspects: operation monitoring, maintenance key points, and applicable boundaries.
After the equipment is put into operation, it is recommended to regularly record inlet and outlet temperatures, medium flow rate, and pressure drop changes. If the inlet-outlet temperature difference continuously deviates from the design value, it may indicate scaling on the heat exchange surface or abnormal flow distribution; when the pressure drop rises significantly, check whether there is blockage in the pipeline or insufficient valve opening. Organizing the above data weekly or monthly facilitates maintenance in the early stage of a fault and avoids unplanned downtime.
The maintenance cycle can be determined according to medium cleanliness. Generally, a visual inspection is carried out every 3 to 6 months of operation. Focus on checking whether there is leakage at the connection between the sheath and the heat exchange tubes and whether the seals are aged. When cleaning, use soft tools with a neutral cleaning agent to avoid scratching the heat exchange surface. If it operates under high-hardness water conditions for a long time, the cleaning interval can be appropriately shortened. When reassembling after disassembly, bolts should be tightened evenly in a diagonal sequence to prevent uneven stress on the sealing surface.
This model is not suitable for strongly acidic, strongly alkaline, or flammable and explosive environments. If there are special medium requirements, another model must be selected. When used for tank tracing, it is recommended to evenly arrange multiple groups of exchangers according to the tank size to avoid local overheating or condensation. Before procurement, the supplier should be provided with the medium name, working temperature, flow rate, and interface specifications to confirm the adaptability of materials and interface forms. In terms of spare parts, it is recommended to stock one set each of seals and fasteners to shorten fault recovery time.
