Monthly increases in outlet temperature and rising pressure drop in plate-fin heat exchangers are common feedback issues in compressor aftercoolers and hydraulic station oil cooling circuits. Per operational monitoring requirements, inlet and outlet temperatures, pressures, and flow rates should be recorded each shift and trend files established. During on-site commissioning, temperature readings after stable operation should be recorded channel by channel, and deviations from design values calculated, helping procurement and maintenance personnel determine whether the cause is insufficient sizing margin, channel fouling, or uneven medium distribution.
Rising outlet temperature is often related to fin channel fouling and oil-side flow deviating from design values; cleaning and flow verification can be scheduled in conjunction with pressure drop changes. When pressure drop increases significantly, check whether channels are blocked and whether connection pipe diameters match. If the temperature difference is too small, verify whether the heat transfer area is consistent with design conditions. The HX-63 features a removable inspection interface in its structure, facilitating on-site inspection of core channels.
Applicable media are hydraulic oil, compressed air, and water-glycol solution; design pressure and design temperature are determined per the order agreement; core material options include aluminum alloy or stainless steel; connection types support flange and threaded connections. Specific parameters are subject to the accompanying technical documents.
Suitable for compressor aftercooling, hydraulic station oil cooling circuits, and construction machinery cooling systems. Procurement personnel should provide medium type, flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures, and allowable pressure drop during the selection stage to verify heat transfer area and channel arrangement.
