The YBJ-30 welded plate heat exchanger is formed by high-temperature pressure welding and inflation of multiple stainless steel plates, with the flow channel cross-section determined by thermal calculations. During selection, design pressure, design temperature, plate material, and connection diameter must be verified. Commonly used plate materials are 304 or 316L stainless steel, with a design pressure not exceeding 2.5 MPa and a design temperature range of -20°C to 200°C. The single-plate heat exchange area is 0.05 to 0.5 square meters, and the total heat exchange area can be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the number of plates. The allowable working voltage error shall not exceed 1.1 times the rated value, and the shell should be effectively grounded.
This heat exchanger is suitable for heat exchange between clean or lightly fouling liquids and gases, such as hydraulic oil cooling, domestic hot water preparation, and process fluid heat recovery. For media containing particles or prone to crystallization, it is recommended to install a filter at the inlet and perform chemical cleaning regularly. During selection, the flow rates, inlet and outlet temperatures, and allowable pressure drop of the hot side and cold side must be provided to calculate the required number of plates and flow arrangement. If the temperature difference between the two sides is large, a multi-pass arrangement should be used to reduce thermal stress.
During installation, maintenance space should be reserved, and pipe stress should be avoided from acting directly on the connections. Before operation, a hydrostatic test should be conducted, holding pressure for 30 minutes without leakage. Routine maintenance includes checking the aging of sealing gaskets and monitoring pressure drop changes. If the pressure drop increases significantly, reverse flushing or disassembly cleaning can be performed. When out of service for a long time, drain the internal medium to prevent corrosion.
