The RG-15 heat pipe heat exchanger is used for heating and insulation of nitrate tanks, water tanks, oil tanks, and acid-base tanks. The equipment transfers heat through the phase-change circulation of the working fluid inside the heat pipes, maintaining uniform temperature on the tank side and reducing local overheating. During on-site operation and maintenance, matching pipe materials and fin spacing can be selected based on the type of tank liquid and working temperature. The heat pipe elements are independently sealed, so the failure of a single pipe does not affect overall operation, facilitating online inspection and replacement.
In equipment such as fusible metal melting furnaces, air heating furnaces, drying ovens, and hot pressing molds, this heat exchanger can recover waste heat or provide a stable heat source. For melting furnace working conditions, the heat pipe heat exchanger needs to check the flue gas side dew point to avoid low-temperature corrosion; for hot pressing molds, focus on checking the heat transfer oil inlet temperature and flow rate to prevent overheating of the heat pipes. The equipment supports horizontal or vertical installation, and the interface direction can be adjusted according to on-site piping to reduce modification workload.
Daily inspections should record the inlet and outlet temperature difference, air pressure, or liquid flow resistance of the heat pipe heat exchanger. If the temperature difference significantly decreases, check whether the heat pipes have dust accumulation, scaling, or working fluid leakage. Avoid using sharp tools to contact the fins during cleaning. Keep the interior dry during shutdown to prevent external corrosion in acid-base tank environments. The design, manufacturing, and installation stages all consider on-site operability, balancing economy and safety.
