In melting furnace waste heat recovery, the flue gas side dew point temperature is a key parameter for selection and calculation. If the tube wall temperature is below the dew point, acidic components tend to condense, causing low-temperature corrosion. For the HGR-36 heat pipe heat exchanger, it is recommended to control the exhaust gas temperature at 15°C to 20°C above the dew point to balance heat recovery efficiency and equipment life.
For hot press die applications, operation and maintenance personnel should focus on the heat transfer oil inlet temperature and flow rate. It is recommended that the inlet temperature not exceed 280°C and the flow rate deviation be controlled within ±5% of the design value, to avoid abnormal working fluid pressure or reduced heat transfer performance of the heat pipe due to overheating.
Steam, heat transfer oil, or electric heating can all serve as the hot end heat source. After providing the heat source temperature and flow rate, the required heat transfer area can be calculated based on the temperature difference and heat load. The HGR-36 heat pipe heat exchanger can adapt to various heat source parameters and meet customized requirements under different working conditions.
