In air-liquid heat exchange scenarios, the compactness of the finned-tube structure gives it a higher heat exchange area per unit volume than bare-tube heat exchangers. The HXR-30 finned-tube heat exchanger uses a combination of aluminum or copper tubes and fins, and is suitable for refrigeration, air conditioning, and industrial cooling applications. However, some field operation data show that declines in heat exchange efficiency are often related to fin dust accumulation, insufficient air volume, or lack of temperature difference monitoring.
Compared with shell-and-tube heat exchangers, the advantage of the finned-tube solution lies in its large air-side heat exchange area and compact structure; its disadvantage is that dust easily accumulates between the fins, requiring more frequent cleaning and maintenance. If the inlet and outlet temperature difference and air volume changes are not recorded, the cleaning cycle can only be judged by experience, which easily leads to increased energy consumption or insufficient heat exchange. Therefore, it is recommended to use temperature difference and air volume as the basis for cleaning rather than a fixed timetable.
In daily operation, after adjusting the temperature knob to the required value, observe whether the signal light displays normally to determine whether the control loop is working. After shutdown, first cut off the power supply, and wait until the surface temperature drops to ambient temperature before cleaning, which can avoid burns and fin deformation. Compared with similar solutions with self-cleaning functions, the HXR-30 does not integrate an automatic ash cleaning device, but its structure is simple and its maintenance cost is low, making it suitable for occasions with low dust concentration. Technical engineers should choose the cleaning method based on the on-site dust characteristics and regularly calibrate the temperature signal.
