Explosion-proof electric heater is a device that converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat the material to be heated. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters its input port through the pipeline under pressure, flows along the specific heat exchange channel inside the electric heating container, follows the path designed based on fluid thermodynamics principles, and carries away the high-temperature thermal energy generated by the electric heating elements during operation, thereby raising the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet of the electric heater obtains the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, ensuring uniform temperature of the medium at the outlet. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device of the heating element immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing the heated material from overheating, coking, deteriorating, or carbonizing, and in severe cases, preventing the heating element from burning out, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.

Explosion-proof electric heaters have been widely used in China's petrochemical, metallurgical and other industries. However, their service life is not as long as that of other new types of heaters. Their heating power per unit area is relatively high, making them prone to carbon deposition on the heater surface. Especially for heaters above 5KW, the normal service life is only about 3 years.
Explosion-proof electric heater is composed of an explosion-proof heating tube and an explosion-proof junction box. The stainless steel heating tube evenly distributes high-temperature resistance wires inside a high-temperature resistant stainless steel seamless tube, and the gaps are densely filled with crystalline magnesium oxide powder with excellent thermal conductivity and insulation properties. This structure of the heating tube not only has high thermal efficiency but also provides uniform heating. When current passes through the high-temperature resistance wires, the heat generated by the heating tube is dispersed through the crystalline magnesium oxide powder to the metal tube surface, and then transferred to the heated object or air, achieving the purpose of heating.
