In tank heat tracing design, problems such as local overheating or medium condensation on the tank body are often encountered. When using QS-40 sheathed heat exchangers, improper layout can easily create temperature gradients on the tank wall, affecting medium flowability or causing local coking. The solution is to evenly arrange multiple heat exchanger groups according to tank dimensions, replacing single-point concentrated heating with distributed heat exchange to make the temperature field inside the tank more uniform.

For vertical or horizontal storage tanks, design and selection personnel need to first confirm the tank diameter, liquid level height, and medium characteristics. QS-40 sheathed heat exchangers can heat or cool different media such as water, oil, and acid-base solutions. During layout, it is recommended to install them in groups along the tank wall circumference or axial direction, with group spacing determined by tank dimensions and heat load calculations, avoiding local overheating caused by excessive power of a single group. Multiple heat exchangers can be controlled independently or adjusted in groups, making it convenient to adjust heat supply according to actual working conditions.

Electrical protection in humid or outdoor occasions is equally critical. The junction box of this product adopts a sealed structure with an IP54 protection rating, suitable for outdoor rain or high-humidity environments. During installation, ensure the junction box faces downward or sideways to avoid water accumulation. For acid-base solution media, the sheath material and medium compatibility should be checked to prevent corrosion perforation.

Scenarios such as reactor kettles and pipeline heat tracing can refer to similar principles: first analyze the medium temperature requirements and equipment geometric characteristics, then determine the number of heat exchanger groups and installation positions. For maintenance, regularly check the sheath surface scaling and wiring sealing status, and clean promptly when scaling is severe to maintain heat exchange efficiency.
