Cast Copper Electric Heater Technical Characteristics
III. Usage Precautions:
1. The working voltage must not exceed 10% of the rated value; the relative humidity of the air should not be greater than 95%, and there should be no explosive or corrosive gases.
2. The wiring part should be placed outside the heating layer and insulation layer, and the shell should be effectively grounded; avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media, and moisture; the lead wires should be able to withstand the temperature of the wiring part and the heating load for a long time, and avoid excessive force when tightening the wiring screws.
3. The metal casting heater should be stored in a dry place. If stored for a long time and the insulation resistance is lower than 1MΩ, it can be baked in an oven at about 200 degrees Celsius for 5-6 hours to restore normal. Alternatively, reduce the voltage and energize to heat until the insulation resistance is restored.
4. The metal casting heater should be properly positioned and fixed, and the effective heating area must be closely attached to the heated body. No dry burning is allowed. If dust or contaminants are found on the surface, they should be cleaned promptly before reuse to avoid affecting heat dissipation and shortening the service life.
5. The magnesium oxide powder at the outlet end of the electric heating tube should avoid contamination and moisture infiltration at the use site to prevent leakage accidents.
Metal Casting Heater is made of tubular electric heating elements as the heating body, bent into shape, and then placed into a mold with high-quality metal alloy materials as the shell, centrifugally cast into various shapes, such as round, flat, right-angle, air-cooled, water-cooled, and other special shapes. After precision processing, it can be closely attached to the heated body. The surface load of cast aluminum heaters can reach 2.5-4.5 W/cm², with a maximum working temperature between 300-450°C; the surface load of cast copper heaters can reach 3.5-5.0 W/cm², with a maximum working temperature between 500-600°C; the surface load of cast iron heaters can reach 4.5-6.0 W/cm², with a maximum working temperature between 550-700°C. The metal casting heater is a high-efficiency heater with uniform heat distribution. The excellent thermal conductivity of the metal alloy ensures uniform heat surface temperature, eliminating hot and cold spots on the equipment. It has the advantages of long life, good thermal insulation performance, strong mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and anti-magnetic field. Adding insulation devices to the external heat dissipation surface and sintering infrared on the internal heat dissipation surface can save 35% of electricity.
