1. Tank pump-out type:
Explosion-proof electric heater, also known as pump-out electric heater, is mainly used to heat various viscous media in storage tanks, making them locally thinner so that they can be smoothly pumped out, such as the explosion-proof electric heater produced by our company.
Advantages: Only the medium to be pumped out needs to be locally heated for operation, with fast thermal startup and low electrical load, without the need to heat the entire medium in the tank. This changes the traditional method of heating the entire medium in the tank and waiting for a long time for oil dispensing, adopting a mode of heating only the amount of oil to be dispensed. This greatly saves energy and improves the efficiency of pumping viscous media.
2. Tank immersion type:
The electric heating tube group is composed of flanges and directly inserted into the container, with the electric heating tube in direct contact with the heating medium for heating. Generally, a higher density of electric heating tubes and a lower surface load are preferred, such as flange-type electric heaters.
3. Tank jacket type:
Function and characteristics: Suitable for various storage tanks and tank trucks, such as heating, insulation, anti-condensation, and drag reduction of viscous media in refineries, oil depots, offshore platform oil depots, etc. The jacket-type tank is divided into ordinary type and explosion-proof type, such as the oil drum heater produced by our company.
There are two structural forms: electric heating core and jacket. The whole is installed at the bottom of the tank, and the jacket is filled with heat transfer oil with good thermal conductivity as the heat transfer medium. The heating core can be disassembled and replaced. Another form of annealing furnace uses special ceramic parts as insulating materials, nickel-chromium wire as heating elements, and carbon steel or stainless steel tubes as sheaths for electric heating products. It replaces traditional heating methods such as steam and hot water. Electric heaters have the advantages of safety, reliability, easy maintenance, and energy saving, making them an ideal heating equipment. The tank-type electric heater has the following characteristics:
a. Low surface load of the heater, long service life, no daily maintenance required, and replacement of the heating core does not affect the normal operation of the tank;
b. High energy transmission efficiency, significant energy saving, and no pollution;
c. Equipped with over-temperature protection device, can work normally in Zone I and Zone II explosive gas hazardous areas;
d. Sturdy and durable structure;
e. Generally, the power density can be determined according to the viscosity, ranging from 0.8W/cm² to 1.4W/cm².
