Bearing induction heater is mainly used to heat various types of metal parts such as bearings, gears, bushings, shaft sleeves, diameter rings, pulleys, shrink rings, connectors, etc., by heating to expand them to meet the needs of interference fit.
Working principle:
The working principle of the bearing induction heater is to use alternating current to generate an alternating magnetic field, which generates eddy currents to rapidly heat the metal workpiece. During induction heating, only the metal part of the heated workpiece rises in temperature, while the induction heater itself and the non-metal parts of the heated workpiece do not heat up. Therefore, the induction heater can be used to heat sealed bearings and pre-lubricated bearings.
Operating procedure of bearing induction heater:
1. Place the yoke on the end face of the main unit;
2. Insert the plug into a power socket with a control switch;
3. Check whether the ground wire is good, and test with a test pen after power-on;
4. Press the start button to power on the main unit;
5. Check that the yoke has no voltage to ground;
6. Press the stop button to power off the main unit and stop heating;
7. According to different specifications of bearings or other workpieces, select different yokes, put them on the top end face of the main unit, and ensure they fit smoothly;
8. During heating, insert the sensor into the "sensor socket" and keep the sensor close to the heated workpiece;
9. When the bearing is heated to the required temperature, the power will be automatically cut off or press the stop switch;
10. After heating stops, move the yoke left or right, remove the bearing, and then place the yoke back on the top end face of the main unit;
11. For repeated use and continuous heating of bearings, simply put the bearing to be processed onto the yoke and press the start button.
Details to pay attention to during operation of bearing induction heater:
1. First, understand the bearing induction heater. Its working principle is to use the eddy current generated by metal in an alternating magnetic field to heat itself, commonly used in metal heat treatment and other aspects. The principle is that when thicker metal is in an alternating magnetic field, current is generated due to electromagnetic induction. After the current is generated in thicker metal, the current forms a spiral flow path inside the metal, so the heat generated by the current flow is absorbed by the metal itself, causing the metal to heat up quickly;
2. In humid environments, do not use or store the induction heater. Do not start the machine without heating rods or without properly placing the heating rods;
3. When using a movable heater, fix it on a horizontal table for operation. The heating rod should be correctly placed on the end face of the machine core. For heaters with rotating heating rods, the rocker arm should remain closed;
4. Ensure the machine operates at the correct supply voltage. If the purchased heater does not come with a power plug, it must be operated by a professional;
5. To prevent excessive vibration causing noise and damage to people and the machine, be sure to check whether the heating rod is placed stably. When the bearing/workpiece >23kg, use lifting equipment;
6. Keep any stray metal objects or equipment at least 50cm away from the induction heater.
During the heating process of the bearing induction heater: Do not place metal objects on the heating rod and magnetic poles; keep at least 1 meter away from the heater; during operation, strong current passes through the metal, so do not support bearing workpieces with metal cables or let any metal objects hang in the magnetic field.
