I. Overview of SUTE Electric Heating Tube for Air Separation Unit
An air separation unit is equipment that uses air as raw material, turns air into liquid through compression circulation and deep freezing, and then gradually separates and produces oxygen, nitrogen, argon and other inert gases from liquid air through rectification. The electric heating tube for air separation unit is an electric heating element specially designed and manufactured for the air separation industry. It has the characteristics of unique manufacturing process, high temperature and high pressure resistance, and long service life.
II. Common faults of SUTE Electric Heating Tube for Air Separation Unit
1. Leakage (phenomenon: automatic circuit breaker or leakage protection switch trips, the electric heating tube cannot heat), accounting for more than 90% of heater failures
2. No heating (internal heating wire burned out or broken wire at junction box)
3. Electric heating tube cracked or broken (crack in the tube, corrosion and rupture of the tube, etc.)
III. Troubleshooting methods
1. For leakage, confirm the leakage point. If it is the electric heating tube itself, it can be baked in an oven. If the insulation resistance value cannot be increased, the electric heating tube may need to be replaced. If the junction box has water ingress, dry it with a heat gun. If the wire is damaged, wrap it with tape or replace the wire.
2. If the heater does not heat, for internal wire breakage of the electric heating tube, it cannot be repaired and can only be replaced; if the circuit or connector is broken or loose, reconnect it.
3. For cracked or broken electric heating tube, it can only be replaced.

V. Overload test of electric heating tube
The number of on-off cycles is 30 times. For elements with rated power not greater than 100W, the input power for overload test is 1.3 times the rated power. For elements greater than 100W, the input power for overload test is 1.27 times the rated power or 1.21 times plus 12W, whichever is greater.
