The FLG-58 flange-type electric heating tube adopts a structure of multiple U-shaped tubular electric heating elements fixed by a flange plate and welded in a bundle. During disassembly, the entire bundle can be pulled out simply by loosening the flange bolts, facilitating on-site maintenance and replacement. Compared with threaded electric heating tubes, the flange-type structure can accommodate more heating branches under the same vessel opening conditions, and the power coverage range of a single unit is wider; compared with the method of directly inserting bare tubes, the flange plate performs sealing and positioning functions, making the relative position between the tube bundle and the vessel wall more stable.
When determining specifications, operation and maintenance personnel should calculate the cold-start current: the cold resistance of the resistance wire is relatively low, and the instantaneous current at switch-on is higher than the rated value, so the capacity of the distribution circuit and contactor should have a margin. Second, confirm the maximum allowable temperature of the medium; the tube surface temperature should be lower than the coking or decomposition temperature of the medium. Third is liquid level control: the effective heating section of the tube bundle must be fully immersed to avoid dry burning that causes overheating of the tube body. Dimensions, power, and operating voltage can all be customized according to customer requirements.
Before installation, the flange sealing surface should be cleaned thoroughly, and the gasket should be selected according to the medium temperature and corrosiveness; the wiring cavity should be kept dry, and the tightness of the wiring terminals should be checked regularly. During shutdown periods, it is recommended to pull out the tube bundle and remove surface scale, as the scale layer will raise the tube wall temperature. If three-phase current imbalance occurs during operation, check whether any single element is open-circuited.
This product is suitable for heating vessels such as water tanks, oil tanks, reactors, and circulation pipelines. The medium can be water, oil, and some weakly corrosive liquids.
