In the heat transfer oil circulation system of chemical reactors, flanged electric heating tubes are commonly used to maintain the medium temperature. Design and selection personnel need to verify parameters such as the installation interface, heating power, and medium characteristics. The following outlines the key points from a selection perspective.
The FJ-25 model uses a standard flange connection, and the flange specifications can be customized according to the equipment opening size. The sealing surface form is usually raised face or male-female face, and oil-resistant and temperature-resistant gasket materials are selected to ensure no leakage at the design temperature of 130°C. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the heating tube is fully immersed in the medium to avoid dry burning.
The power range of a single heating tube is relatively wide, and the total power is usually calculated based on medium volume, heating time, and heat loss. The power supply voltage can be 220V or 380V. During design and selection, the on-site power supply capacity and wiring method should be confirmed. This model can operate continuously at a design temperature of 130°C, and the surface load needs to be adjusted according to the fluidity of the medium.
The outer sleeve material of the heating tube can be selected from stainless steel 304, 316L, or carbon steel, and should be determined according to the corrosiveness of the medium. For different media such as heat transfer oil, water, and weakly acidic or alkaline solutions, the corrosion resistance grade of the sleeve material should be evaluated. The junction box protection rating is conventionally IP54, and can be upgraded to IP65 in humid environments.
Suitable for reactor jacket heating, storage tank insulation, pipeline tracing, and small oil tank heating. In skid-mounted equipment with limited space, the flanged structure facilitates centralized installation and later maintenance. During selection, the medium name, working pressure, interface size, and power supply conditions need to be provided to match the heating tube length and power distribution.
