The flanged electric heating tube is manufactured in accordance with the JB/T 2379-1993 standard. Common issues mainly involve the matching of power density and flange specifications. The FJR-85 model keeps the single-tube power within a reasonable range under the same flange size, avoiding medium coking caused by excessive surface load. Compared with threaded electric heating tubes, flanged connections can carry greater total power and do not require rotating the tube body during disassembly and assembly, making them suitable for reactors, storage tanks, and other occasions requiring regular maintenance.
This model offers multiple flange specifications from DN80 to DN150. The flange material can be carbon steel or stainless steel, and the sealing surface is determined according to the corrosiveness of the medium. During installation, it is necessary to ensure that the heating zone is fully immersed in the medium to avoid dry burning. Compared with similar flat flange products, the FJR-85 model uses a raised face flange with a spiral wound gasket, providing more reliable sealing under 1.6MPa working conditions.
It is commonly used for heating chemical materials, powder drying, and air heating before spray drying. Different media require different surface loads: when heating water, the recommended power density should not exceed 3W/cm²; when heating oil, it should not exceed 1.5W/cm²; when heating air, it can be appropriately increased. Users can choose the combination of single-tube power and tube length according to the characteristics of the medium.
