The FBR-12 stainless steel explosion-proof heating rod is used in saltpeter tanks, water tanks, oil tanks, acid and alkali tanks, fusible metal melting furnaces, air heating furnaces, drying furnaces, drying ovens, and hot-pressing molds, among other equipment. Before installation, it is recommended to confirm the medium composition, operating temperature, and fluidity, and to verify the compatibility between the heating rod material and the medium, so as to avoid deteriorated heat transfer caused by medium corrosion or scaling. This series supports a 380V star connection, and a 220V three-head connection on both sides can also be selected. The power range is 1KW to 10KW, and non-standard power ratings can be ordered separately.
During installation, the matching between the flange and the equipment interface must be carefully verified. The flange outer diameter is 115mm, the thickness is 8-10mm, the mounting holes are 6 holes with a diameter of 9mm, and the center distance is 94mm. The length of the electric heating tube can be selected according to the depth of the tank. During installation, keep the heating zone fully immersed in the medium to avoid dry burning; the wiring part should be placed inside an explosion-proof junction box, the sealing components should be intact, and the fastening bolts should be evenly stressed to prevent medium infiltration.
This heating rod uses 0.7W/cm² as the standard design heat transfer density, and the heat transfer temperature shall not exceed the allowable requirement of the medium. During operation, it is recommended to pay attention to changes in medium level and temperature to avoid local overheating caused by too low a liquid level. For media prone to scaling, the surface condition can be checked regularly and cleaned to maintain heat transfer efficiency.
During maintenance, first cut off the power supply and confirm cooling, then check whether the wiring terminals are loose or oxidized and whether the insulation resistance is normal. If it is to be out of service for a long time, it is advisable to clean the surface and store it dry to avoid moisture affecting insulation performance. When replacing, select the model according to the original installation dimensions and power parameters to ensure that the explosion-proof grade is consistent with the on-site area requirements.
