In small oil tanks, water tanks, or chemical medium heating scenarios, procurement personnel often need to achieve stable heating within limited space. Sheathed electric heaters use a metal sheath to enclose the heating element, featuring a compact structure suitable for installation on the side wall or bottom of tanks. Compared with bare wire heaters, their insulation and protection performance is more suitable for humid or slightly corrosive environments; compared with flange-type or high-power centralized heating solutions, the BTH-12 model offers more flexible adaptability in the small to medium power range. During selection, it is recommended to first confirm the medium type, operating temperature, and container opening size, then match the power and sheath material.
The BTH-12 sheathed electric heater is small in size, and its heating power density can be adjusted according to working conditions. The sheath material can be selected from stainless steel 304, 316L, or carbon steel, suitable for heating oil, water, chemical media, and low-melting-point alloys. Compared with ordinary tubular heaters, its sheathed structure reduces the risk of the medium directly contacting the heating wire, and during maintenance or replacement, it is not necessary to drain all the medium. In terms of control, it can be equipped with an intelligent temperature control module, and the temperature control accuracy meets general industrial needs, while also supporting computer networking for data acquisition. Compared with the SRL-15 sheathed heat exchanger, this product focuses more on heating rather than heat exchange, making it suitable for independent heating processes.
The BTH-12 model is commonly used in hot-pressing molds, melting salt and alkali, small reactor jackets, and laboratory heating devices. When purchasing, it is necessary to specify the voltage, power, sheath length, and installation thread specifications. If the medium contains corrosive components, a 316L sheath is recommended; if only heating clean water or thermal oil, a 304 sheath is sufficient. Avoid using it beyond the power density to extend service life. For explosion-proof areas, a separately explosion-proof certified model must be selected.
