Electric Heating Coil
Cast aluminum heating plate is made by casting elements in aluminum. It is mainly used for plastic extruders, injection molding machines, and various metal outer diameter heating. This product features easy installation, low heat loss, fast heat transfer, and energy saving. It has been widely used in industries such as rubber/plastic machinery, chemical/food machinery, electronic/packaging machinery, etc.
Technical Characteristics
Using tubular electric heating elements as the heating body, bent into shape, and then cast into various shapes using high-quality metal alloy materials as the shell through centrifugal casting, including round, flat, right-angle, air-cooled, water-cooled, and other special shapes. After precision machining, it can closely fit the heated object.
Electric Heating Coil Surface load can reach 1.5-3.5 W/cm², operating temperature between 300-450°C;
Cast copper heating plate surface load can reach 3.5-5.0 W/cm², operating temperature between 500-600°C;
Cast iron heating plate surface load can reach 4.5-6.0 W/cm², operating temperature between 550-700°C.
Cast aluminum heating plate is a heater with high efficiency and uniform heat distribution. The metal alloy with good thermal conductivity ensures uniform surface temperature, eliminating hot and cold spots on the equipment. It has advantages such as long life, good thermal insulation, strong mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, and anti-magnetic field. Adding insulation devices to the outer heat dissipation surface and sintering infrared rays on the inner heat dissipation surface can save 35% electricity.
Precautions for Using Cast Aluminum Heating Plate
1. The working voltage must not exceed 10% of the rated value; the relative humidity of the air should not exceed 95%, and there should be no explosive or corrosive gases.
2. The wiring part should be placed outside the heating layer and insulation layer, and the shell should be effectively grounded; avoid contact with corrosive, explosive media, and moisture; the lead wire should be able to withstand the temperature of the wiring part and the heating load for a long time, and avoid excessive force when tightening the wiring screws.
3. The metal cast heater should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance is lower than 1MΩ due to long-term storage, it can be restored by baking in an oven at about 200°C for 5-6 hours, or by reducing voltage and energizing for heating until the insulation resistance is restored.
4. The metal cast heater should be properly positioned and fixed, and the effective heating area must be in close contact with the heated object. Dry burning is strictly prohibited. If dust or contaminants are found on the surface, they should be cleaned promptly before reuse to avoid affecting heat dissipation and shortening service life.
5. The magnesium oxide powder at the outlet end of the electric heating tube should be protected from contaminants and moisture infiltration at the use site to prevent leakage accidents.
