During on-site operation and maintenance, oil leakage in the wiring cavity of heavy oil tank heaters and oil traces at flange seals occur from time to time, most of which are related to improper matching between heater power density and the medium. The ZYC1-52/10C stainless steel explosion-proof heater is designed for heavy oil and other viscous media, with a power density of 0.8W/cm², a single heating tube insertion depth of 5.2 meters, a rated power of 10kW, and a flange specification of DN100. It is suitable for explosion-proof locations that require heating temperature uniformity.
This model has a power density of 0.8W/cm² and is suitable for heavy oil and other viscous media. When the medium viscosity is relatively high, if the power density is too large, the surface temperature of the heating tube can easily exceed the allowable range of the medium, causing local coking. On-site operation and maintenance personnel can select the corresponding power density according to the medium type: 0.8W/cm² for heavy oil, and 1.5W/cm² for light oil and medium oil. The ZYC1-52/10C has 1 heating tube, an insertion depth of 5.2 meters, a power of 10kW, and a flange selected as DN100 according to the HG standard.
220V single-phase is suitable for low-power (≤2kW) applications, while 380V three-phase is suitable for 3kW and above to balance the load. The ZYC1-52/10C has a rated power of 10kW and should be connected to a 380V three-phase power supply. During wiring, follow the phase sequence and terminal numbers marked on the nameplate to avoid overload of the heating tube caused by phase loss.
Before installation, check whether the flange specification matches the tank interface and confirm that the sealing gasket material is oil-resistant and temperature-resistant. The heating tube insertion depth is 5.2 meters; during installation, ensure that the heating section is fully immersed in the medium to avoid dry burning. During operation, regularly check the sealing condition of the wiring cavity and the flange fasteners, and stop the machine promptly for handling if oil leakage is found. After shutdown, disconnect the power supply and wait for the heater to cool to room temperature before inspection or disassembly.
